Perpetua’s passion for her dual interests is palpable. “Personally, I am very interested in the protection of human populations from the effects of adverse environmental factors; protection of environments, both local and global, from potentially deleterious effects of natural and human activities, and improvement of environmental quality through the use of geospatial technology,” she purposefully explained. Perpetua described her involvement with the African Network of Green Ambassadors (ANGA) as nothing short of transformative. The Green Ambassadorship Program provided her with invaluable insights into environmental protection strategies. “ANGA’s Green Ambassadorship Program has given me insights on environmental protection through afforestation and reforestation programs, and capacity building various groups on the importance of taking care of our mother earth so that she can also take care of our future generation, hence promoting sustainable development,” she shared.
